Photo, film and audio recordings are made during the events. They are used for documentation, media coverage, public relations and the marketing of the events.

Data subjects have the following rights:
To exercise your rights, you can contact the controller at any time.
Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. As a rule, the competent authority is the one at your habitual place of residence or at the controller’s registered office.
We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access.
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device.
These cookies are required to provide the website properly. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If analytics or statistics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or comparable services) are used, this is done exclusively on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR via a cookie consent tool.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and, where applicable, your name. Registration uses the double opt-in procedure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link or by notifying us.
We maintain online presences on social networks (e.g. Instagram, Facebook) to communicate with interested parties and participants there.
When you visit our social media pages, the data protection provisions of the respective platform operators apply. Personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We run advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. The provider of these platforms is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”).
Some of our ads contain a form (so-called “Lead Ads”) through which you can sign up with us directly on Facebook or Instagram, for example for our newsletter or for promotions such as the DogWorld community ticket. Meta pre-fills fields such as name and email address based on your profile; you can change this information before submitting. When you submit the form, the data entered is transmitted to us.
We process this data exclusively for the purpose stated in the form. If you have consented to receiving our newsletter, you will first receive an email to confirm your subscription (double opt-in, see section 14). The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
When displaying ads, Meta also processes its own usage data, for example to deliver ads to specific target groups and to evaluate their reach. This may involve a transfer of data to the USA. Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For selecting target groups and evaluating our ads, we receive only anonymised statistics from Meta. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in effectively promoting our events under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Further information on data processing by Meta can be found at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
To provide our services, we use external service providers as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, in particular:
Corresponding data processing agreements are in place with all processors.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, destruction, unauthorised access or manipulation.
This privacy policy is currently valid and applies to all current and future events under the brand DackelRace & DogWorld. We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
